Sean Phelan is a specialist in personal injury, wrongful death and insurance bad faith cases and claims. He graduated from the prestigious Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in 2003. He completed his Juris Doctor as a member of the highly regarded Cornelius Honor Society and was an Associate Editor of the Law Review. Sean received numerous public interest and pro bono honors award during law school. Sean also holds a Certification in Mediation and Facilitation.
Next, Sean accepted the position of Staff Attorney with Western Resource Advocates in Salt Lake City, Utah. In short order, Sean successfully co-counseled two cases before the Utah Supreme Court that successfully protected citizens’ rights to seek judicial intervention for claims against governmental entities.
Sean joined Jensen Phelan Law Firm, P.C. in 2006 and became a partner in 2009. Since joining Jensen Phelan Law Firm, P.C., Sean has quickly gained notoriety and respect as an attorney with compassion, understanding, and the drive to fight on behalf of clients against giant insurance companies and corporations. Sean has spent his entire career fighting for individual rights against government and corporate interests. Sean has aggressively battled against federal, state and county governments, and major corporations, including trucking companies and insurance companies. He believes that individuals hurt by the wrongdoing of others deserve representation to make things right.
Sean is busy with his two children and his wife in a variety of community activities. Sean’s volunteer activities range from coaching youth soccer and basketball to helping to organize local bicycle races that add to the economy for many Prescott businesses. Sean coaches mock trial activities for a local school. He also volunteers his time to Community Legal Services by providing pro bono legal services within his practice areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims to assist in repairing the lives of injured individuals and families in great need. Sean is an avid mountain biker and hiker who spends as much time as he can on the forest trails around Prescott.
