Sean Phelan focuses his practice in personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance cases. He earned Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in 2003 and is a member of the Cornelius Honor Society. He was an Associate Editor of the Law Review. Sean also holds a Certification in Mediation and Facilitation.
After completing his Juris Doctor, Sean accepted a Staff Attorney position with Western Resource Advocates in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sean successfully co-counseled two cases before the Utah Supreme Court, protecting citizens’ rights to seek judicial intervention for claims against governmental entities.
Sean joined Jensen Phelan Law Firm, P.C. in 2006 and became a partner in 2009. Sean is respected as an attorney with compassion, understanding, drive, and decades of experience. Sean has spent his career fighting for individual rights against government and corporate interests. Sean has litigated against federal, state and county governments, and major corporations. He has experience in successfully bringing forth claims of medical malpractice, elder abuse and neglect, dog bites, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, and cyclist crashes. Sean’s dedicated and caring representation is driven a passion for making things right.
Sean is dedicated to giving back to the Arizona community. Sean’s volunteer activities range from coaching youth soccer and basketball to helping to organize local bicycle races that add to the economy for many Prescott businesses. Sean has coached mock trial activities for a local school. He also volunteers his time to Community Legal Services by providing pro bono legal services within his practice areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims to assist in repairing the lives of injured individuals and families in great need.
Sean is an avid mountain biker and hiker who enjoys all that Arizona’s beautiful nature has to offer.
